Send what you have and you'll get a same-day quote; once you approve, most parts ship in 2–3 days from our shops in Columbia, Missouri and St. Petersburg, Florida, to anywhere in the US. We print in engineering plastics — polypropylene, ASA, nylon, carbon-fiber nylon, PETG, ABS and TPU — and there's no minimum order. One part is a normal order here.
Every plant, lab, and old building has one: the part that keeps a machine running, a bench organized, or a facade complete — made by a company that no longer exists, or an OEM that dropped the product line years ago. When it cracks, you can't buy another. You can reprint it.

In one recent month, a medical device integration team ordered thirty custom vial holders built to their equipment — an institutional repeat order, reprinted to the same spec every time. The same week, a restoration contractor brought us an ornamental cast-iron column capital from a historical renovation that needed to be reproduced. Two unrelated industries, one identical problem: an existing object nobody sells anymore.
How reverse-engineering works here
Send what you have. The original part (even broken or worn), photos with something for scale, a sketch with measurements, or an old drawing — or ship us the part and we'll 3D scan it. CAD files welcome but never required — .STL, .STEP, .OBJ, or .3MF, zipped.
We scan it or rebuild it digitally. We 3D scan the original or model the part from your photos and measurements, and where a dimension is fit-critical we confirm it with you before anything prints. Creating the CAD — by scan or by modeling — is a flat $500, stated up front in the quote.

The honest limits. We print engineering plastics on FDM machines, holding ±0.2 mm on typical parts — we don't print metal. Plenty of metal parts do their job perfectly well reprinted in carbon-fiber nylon, and decorative metalwork can be reproduced as a paintable replica. When printing is the wrong answer for your part, we'll tell you straight.
What it costs to find out
Nothing. Quotes are same-day and free — send the part or the photos and you'll know the price before you commit to anything. If we have to create the CAD model — by 3D scanning your original or building the file from photos — that's a flat $500, quoted up front. Printing is quoted per part.
Frequently asked questions
Can you 3D print a replacement for a part that's no longer made?
Yes. If the part is plastic — or can do its job as a plastic part — we reverse-engineer it from a photo, sketch, or the worn original and reprint it. No CAD file needed.
Do I need a CAD file or technical drawings?
No. The physical part, or photos with a scale reference, is enough — we can 3D scan the original or model it from your photos. If you do have a file or drawing, it speeds up the quote.
Do you offer 3D scanning?
Yes. We 3D scan your part and turn it into a print-ready CAD model for a flat $500 — the right path when the geometry is too complex to measure from photos.
Can you reproduce a metal part?
We print engineering plastics, not metal. Many metal brackets, guides, and housings work well reprinted in carbon-fiber nylon, and ornamental metalwork can be reproduced as a paintable replica. We'll tell you honestly which camp your part is in.
How accurate is the reproduction?
±0.2 mm on typical FDM parts. Where a dimension is fit-critical, we confirm it with you before printing.
How fast can I get the part?
Quotes go out the same day. Once approved, most parts ship in 2–3 days; if CAD rebuild adds time, the quote says so up front.
Is a single part worth your time?
Yes. There's no minimum order — one replacement part is a normal job here, and we keep your file on record so the next one is a same-day reorder.
Will you copy any part I send?
We reproduce parts to repair and maintain your own equipment and property. We don't clone currently manufactured products for resale.
